Doubt
The ones who doubt themselves are the ones who know the most. It’s the ones doubting themselves who shouldn’t be doubting at all. They contemplate every angel, imagine every perspective, every consequence. They have the right answers. They’ve taken the time to think it through. But, Usually the loudest ones, speaking confidently, are heard. No matter if they’re right or wrong. At lot of the time they haven’t given it much thought. They haven’t taken into consideration other perspectives besides their own. Haven’t examined every angel. So why, are they so confident?
Ignorance and arrogance are a scary combination.
Eventually, the doubters learn how to play the game.
Just pretend like you know. For sure. For fact. You know. The right answer never really mattered, it’s not really necessary.
But shouldn’t it be vital is to acknowledge the possibility that, although you believe your position correct, you could also be wrong. Even If we put time and effort into trying to determine the best answer-we could still be wrong.
But, most won’t follow someone who speaks like that, who acknowledges that they may be flawed. They want to follow the person who claims to know, who thinks they are right. Even if they have little to no idea as to why.
Eventually you learn to just speak confidently. Whether you know you’re right or wrong-doesn’t matter to most. Just pick and speak like you know. That’s what they want.
But still, I can’t help but feel that it’s better to acknowledge that everything you believe to be true could be a lie?
